What customers say about speed and follow-through at Boss Carpet One
Boss Carpet One Floor & Home in Freeport holds a 4.9 rating across 65 Google reviews. The point customers raise most is speed. Several describe quick callbacks, fast quotes and installs booked well ahead of other firms.
Installation quality comes up next. Reviewers describe new carpet and floors that look good, with at least one job finished the same day. One customer reports the crew came back to close a small gap at the baseboards at no extra cost.
Not every job started smoothly. A few customers describe early miscommunication on their projects. They also report that staff returned, talked it through and settled the problem.
Carpet, vinyl plank and hardwood installation
The company describes itself as a retailer of hardwood, carpet and luxury vinyl plank. Its website also names tile and laminate, plus a commercial team that has floored schools and a public library. The business says it has been locally owned since 1980 and runs stores in Freeport and Dixon.
The Freeport store also sells cabinets and countertops, and it opens Tuesday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm. The website lists free estimates and a guarantee to replace floors a buyer does not love.
Freeport averages 6,956 heating degree days and 690 cooling degree days a year, per NOAA normals for 1991 to 2020.
Customers also credit staff with help on smaller requests, such as choosing backsplash tile. One buyer building a home out of state reports that staff ordered manufacturer samples of a hard-to-find brand the same day the color codes arrived.
Google Reviews
I had to get flooring in a hurry. Lontellius Hall made the experience a breeze. I had to call him, to get specific dimensions after placing my order a week pryor. Even though he was busy unloading a truck, he called me back in less than 5 minutes with all the information I needed. Every step of the experience he was pleasant and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back to Boss Carpet for all my flooring needs.
Fantastic service and great deals. Ask for Telli Hall. Since we bought in a large bulk amount they came down even more on pricing.
Thank you Boss Carpet One! Our installation was quick and professional! Our new Carpet looks amazing in our new house. We will definitely return to Boss Carpet!
